Awesome pizza. Grandma's pie and the Brooklyn are unique and delicious. Regular cheese pie tops everything around here. Sauce is perfectly seasoned. I think the crust is the most important part of a pie, and theirs is top notch. Also have great wings. Highly recommend

Those who know and love tomato pie are aware that Trenton, NJ, has some of the best around. So, when a tiny take out shop in Penndel, PA, calls itself, "Trenton Tomato Pies" it has a lot to live up to. It has to be damn good to justify its name. Yet, because the pie can't be immediately consumed, it has an inherent disadvantage to those restaurants that allow you to eat it right out of the oven when the molten disk is nearest perfection and at its most dangerous. So, I knew it was a challenge for these folks to succeed. I admired their courage and willingness to make the effort. I decided to stop in without advanced ordering to avoid any possibility the pie and sandwiches would be sitting around any longer than necessary for me to grab everything and get home as quickly as possible. I ordered a small Tomato Pie, Cheesesteak w Hot Peppers and Hot/Sweet Sausage, Pepper & Onion, w Hot Pickled Pepper sandwiches. I waited in my car about 25 minutes until everything was done, and drove the 15 minutes home. In the car I opened the pizza box to let steam escape to preserve crispness, and partially unwrapped the cheesesteak for the same reason. The aroma was terrific and set off my glands' anticipatory reaction. Squirt...!!! How was everything? Glad you asked. Well, despite my best effort to protect the crunch, the pie had lost some of its bite and much of its heat. It was still good, but I had to use my imagination as to how much better it would have been if eaten sooner. The thin crust had good flavor, the under layer of mozzarella was light and not overpowering, and the crushed tomato top spread across its body was mildly sweet and acidic. These guys knew the secret recipe, just too bad they didn't have an adjoining dining room. The Cheesesteak was decent, but not upper echelon, and the Mixed Sausage Pepper & Onion was actually pretty good, and more tasty than the steak. They seemed to be made from different rolls, with the later superior to the former in texture and taste. Can't explain that. Bottom line - Trenton Tomato Pies is a very good choice for your Italian menu, depending in large part on the travel distance until consumption, or your ability to reheat in your oven prior to first chomp. I suspect they are waiting for the vape shop next door to close so they can expand and have the dining space they so sorely need to jump up in rank and play with the tomato pie big boys.

I had a really good delivery experience at TTP last night. I ordered a small pizza and a side of French fries, since I'm only feeding one. The small seemed like a medium. It was very thin, cooked well, good crust, and pretty good flavor too. I was more than satisfied. The fries, not so much. Judging from a picture already posted I did not receive the same fries. Disappointing. Pizza: 7.1 Fries: 6.2 Delivery: 8.5

I wasn't even going to order food! I wanted to stop at the CBD shop next door. I looked at the menu on their website. They have a variety of specialty pizzas at a fair price. They also offer online ordering. Which I didn't use since I was parked out front. The place was very clean. They offer single slices at the counter behind glass. The man taking my order was very nice and personable. I ordered the Brooklyn pizza and garlic knots. It was ready within 15 min. Best pizza I've had in a long time! I will definitely be ordering from this place again. On my way out I picked up a menu. They have some great deals on the front.

Hopefully these guys are here to stay. They are operating in what has sadly become a revolving door of Pizza Places at this location. The owner seems very intent on providing a good business. He's made the place look more professional, is working every time I pickup my order and has pride in his craft. The wait times are noticeably longer than the prior operators so that's a good start.... well for them, not so much for me having to wait longer now! :) Pizza wise you get a solid, tasty pizza that isn't greasy and is made with fresh ingredients. I always ask for it well done to ensure a crispy crust. The tomato pie is very good as well. You get a thin crust tasty pie with sweet chunky tomato, olive oil and light cheese. My 6 year old practically ate an small sized Tomato Pie himself so it must be good! I was disappointed in their Brooklyn Pie. The mozzarella looked like American Cheese was put on top..... It was in fact thin slice mozzarella which took away from the overall flavor of the slices. The olive oil, sweet chunky tomato and basil flavors were all there, but they were missing that nice fresh thick mozzarella. Check out my picture to see. I hope they reconsider and correct this! Friends have recommended the Grandma pie, so I'll have to try that next. The staff there is incredibly friendly and they've already implemented online ordering and rewards points which is great to see. I wish these guys lots of success
